To fear or not to fear

Can you believe this day we are living in? Sometimes it feels as if we are living like Alice in the Wonderland. Everything appears topsy turvy and on its head. But this is what chaos does. It twists things and words to create confusion. You no longer have bearings to guide you. North becomes South and truth becomes a lie.

What we know as normal has become abnormal. Evil and people doing plain evil are lauded. We, who see these things and recoil, are admonished brazenly- Don’t believe your lying eyes!

The airwaves are dominated by falsehoods. In any age, a leader who comforts his people and encourages them to not be afraid would be celebrated. In the face of fear, he would be a braveheart- going forward in the face of darkness. We make movies of these people.

But here we are. In the face of actual heroism, there are those who tell us to turn away from encouraging words and listen to fear. They mask the fear in “science” and in “reality”. The hero who encourages us is beaten down and the enemy is promoted instead.

Why not inspire people to be and do their best? Why condone evil and dwell in fear? These are cowards masking their true desires for total destruction of that which is good and pure. They invent stories and parade falsehoods as truths.

The American media is truly the false prophet of our day. Their god is their belly and their pockets. They have no desire to speak truth. They bargain in fear and falsehoods. And the people are the bounty. There is NO profit in truth.

People of God, turn away and turn off! Stand against the tide of this evil. Stand for TRUTH. Stand for honor and faith and for love. Let the North be North and South be South. Stay the course. Don’t believe the lies and the falsehoods of Jezebel and her lying prophets. Listen to God!

Pray for the eyes of nations to be opened. For hearts to repent of following evil. Let the Light of God shine in the darkness and set the captives free.

BELIEVE IN GOD WHO ALWAYS TELLS US …FEAR NOT!

Because Fear has torment. BE CONFIDENT IN THE WORD OF GOD. He will and has delivered us. Stand your ground upon the ROCK and Foundation of Truth.

Amen!

Resist the enemy

In a few days, God will unleash His judgment that will break the back of the enemy. The liars and those who perpetually oppose God and His anointed will witness His anger.

We are called to pray and to war for the souls of people. As such we pray for our nation, for our leaders and for our families that we will walk before God- be subject to His Lordship, in humility and with an eye to do good.  That we will turn from our wicked ways and will serve the Lord and do good. That we will define good by the scriptures written long ago and sent to help us in our walk.

The enemy walks about seeking whom he will devour. And if you invite him in, he will bite you like he did to Cain.

Gen 4:2-8: And Abel was a keeper of flocks, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the LORD of the fruit of the ground. Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions. And the LORD had regard for Abel and for his offering; but for Cain and for his offering He had no regard. So Cain became very angry and his countenance fell. Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? “If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.” Cain told Abel his brother. And it came about when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.

So at the very beginning, the enemy used anger to gain an entrance to Cain’s soul. And as Cain opened the door, the enemy used words to deceive Abel resulting in the second murder. The first murder had already occurred in the garden with Adam and Eve.

In this time of chaos, we remember the Lord. He is our Light and our Salvation. And He will guide us and set our feet on firm ground.

Do not be discouraged at the constant war words of the enemy. It is all he has. Through all the disinformation, keep your eyes on the Lord. By His Arm we are saved and redeemed. Trust only in God and resist the enemy.

Amen

Watchman, STAND FAST

Ezekiel 3:17-21: I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. “When I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. “Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself. “Again, when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I place an obstacle before him, he will die; since you have not warned him, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. “However, if you have warned the righteous man that the righteous should not sin and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; and you have delivered yourself.

When the enemy seeks to defeat, he begins with those who keep watch over the gates. Today, the watchmen in the natural are law enforcement. They are the ones that stand between us and those who seek to rob and kill us for pleasure. They sign up for a job, low pay, overtime, and the possibility that they will not make it back home to their families at the end of the day. And so the trend today is to attack the natural watchmen who watch over our cities.

As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual. So Church, look into the spiritual and see what the Spirit is showing you. As spiritual watchmen over the land, of the body of Christ, we are also being attacked. But we need to stand fast and watch and pray. We need to be like Daniel. We need to pay attention to the Word of God, to hear His Voice and to seek His face. Let us keep our covenant with the LORD. Let us not cower at the roar of the enemy. Our God is greater. Our destiny is powerful in Christ our Lord.

I Cor 15:58 says- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

Daniel 9:1-6: In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of Median descent, who was made king over the kingdom of the Chaldeans— in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, observed in the books the number of the years which was revealed as the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet for the completion of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy yearsSo I gave my attention to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes. I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed and said, “Alas, O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and lovingkindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments, we have sinned, committed iniquity, acted wickedly and rebelled, even turning aside from Your commandments and ordinances. “Moreover, we have not listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, our princes, our fathers and all the people of the land

Watchmen of the LORD- Stand your ground. Be Alert and Watch for your cities and those under your care. We have much to lose if the enemy breaches the Wall- both natural and spiritual. Fight for yourself, your family, your city, your country.

Amen

100 Days to E DAY

100 days from today, we will know what direction our country has taken. Whether the Left, who never really accepted the election of Donald Trump and has fought incessantly to undermine and dismantle his presidency from day one, will prevail. Now they have enlisted their militia to “pretend protest” in order to convince the American public that they are the party that should be voted in. Or whether common sense will prevail and America votes for law and order.

If people have blindfolds on, they might vote for the puppet that is the Democratic nominee. People who open their eyes can see that this guy is incompetent and likely to bring more pain, mayhem and destruction. They do not care about ordinary folks- their property, their children and their livelihoods. Instead, the Democrats will willingly sacrifice you, your children and your property for their lust for power.

Where do we stand as believers? We have no choice but to vote for the party of law and order. The lines are clearly marked – 100 days from now, it will be the same choice that many have had to take in the days of Lincoln. A choice to stand for Justice, and Truth. A choice for Law and Order- for the conservative party of Donald Trump.

Indeed- we pray for the eyes and ears of the American people to be opened to hear from God. To forsake chaos and seek truth. If we as Christians seek to serve the gods of chaos- Leviathan – according to the Hebrew Bible, then we will reap the reward of chaos. We must seek the one true God- and seek His will.

Pray for this country because there are elements within, that serve the god of chaos willingly and are deceived. We pray against the deception being spread by the American media who has prostituted the truth for money and has sold out America to her enemies, spreading their propaganda without fear. We pray for the leaders of our country that they will lead for the good of the people and not for their bellies and for the sake of power. For all the lies being decimated, we pray for the seed of truth to take root and for it to grow and bring light and healing to this nation.

Let us be a beacon to the nations, not of hate and chaos, but of order and of love rooted in foundational principles. If we allow the Left wing party to remove the Foundations set by God and our forefathers, then we will have failed to protect our country- our present, our future and our destiny as Americans.

Take a stand today and Stand Up for our country. Stand for peace and order. Pray for the next 100 days- relentlessly pursuing after the Lord for His will in our lives and in this country. Pray for our President and his family. Pray for the church to take a Stand for God and not for chaos. Pray church … PRAY because if Chaos takes over, Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness ENDS.. PRAY that this will NEVER Happen!!

True Christianity vs Perpetual Victimhood

Today’s mantra is an echo chamber of victimhood. The air waves and social media is crowded with the victimhood tribes- each one lobbying to be the most victimized than the other. Even Christians have been caught up in the vortex of victimhood living.

Take a breath and step back. Allow yourself to have a bird’s eye view of history. As a follower of Christ, we have the greatest example of Christ. Taken, accused wrongfully, beaten, despised, and crucified on pretext, Jesus could have the greatest excuse to be a victim. But He was not. He was not a victim of the mob, nor of the Romans, nor of the ruling Jewish leaders, nor of Satan – but he was a conqueror- taking everything that happened to Him and wrapping it in His destiny.

I am not saying that bad things do not happen to us. Yes- we are like sheep for the slaughter. But the martyrs from times past to now, define for us the way. From being fed to the lions, crucified, beaten, mistreated, early Christians lived in perpetual victory- knowing that their victory was in the person of Christ- their motto being “In Christ, we live and move and have our being”.

So let us not subscribe to the lie of the enemy. We are not victims. Rather we are more than conquerors. We are more.. not because of the color of our skin, or our financial well being or our social influence. We are more, we are better because of His Mercy and Grace. Choose to believe the truth and not the lie because it looks good. For all of us under the banner of Christ, this is our Daniel day, this is our Esther day, this is our Elijah day. Let us choose this day who we will serve. If God be God, then serve Him. If not then serve whom you please. But there is no middle ground. How we choose will certainly define our future and our destiny.

Remove the outer garment for the inner transformation

Who among us is righteous? There is none. It is the foundation of our Christian Faith. That we could not redeem ourselves due to our righteousness, that God provided for us a way through His Righteous Son- Jesus Christ. Yet- Religion and the religious have taught us for years that we must attain favor by our own righteousness. I dare to disagree. Let us take two famous examples from scripture.

JOSEPH

We all love the story of Joseph. A young boy chosen by God to redeem his family. Rejected by the family, he was sold into slavery and spent years under the cloud of rejection and slavery until God raised him up to glory. It is a story that feeds our own stories of rejection and despair- that God has a purpose in our lives even when we cannot see it.

May I also say, that God had to take away the coat of Joseph’s pride, his self-righteousness and his dependence on himself. Gen 37:31 “And they took Joseph’s coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood”.

This had to be taken away because God does not require outward coats and masquerades. He desires truth in the inward parts. We need to realize that it is not the favor of man or of family or brethren that is needed, but the favor of God.

This seems quite old fashioned in the age of twitter followers, social influencers and facebook followers. Social image and accumulating “likes” is the new coat.

Joseph’s old coat had to be taken from him for the new coat of God’s divine purpose to be placed on his shoulders. Even when he was in Potiphar’s house and became the trusted overseer, his garment had to be taken away again. Gen 39:11- 18 ” And it came to pass, as she spoke to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his work; and there was none of the men of the house there within. And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got out. And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth, That she called unto the men of her house, and spoke unto them, saying, See, he has brought in a Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice: And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got out. And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home. And she spoke unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which you have brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me: And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out.”

We cannot hold on to the habits, glory of men and the righteouness of our own hands and expect to receive all that God desires for us. There must be a breaking- a shattering of self and of the old nature. We cannot hope to be what God wants us to be if we continue wearing the coat of our own pride and self-righteousness. Gen 41:14- :”Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his clothes, and came in unto Pharaoh.”

Samson

Samson wore God as a coat but did not seek His face. Chosen from birth, he was called to lead Israel as its Judge or kind of “king”. He had supernatural strength when the Spirit of God moved on Him. But Samson was wild and untamed- which is not altogether bad. God loves wild and untamed. But Samson was also self-righteous. He did what pleased him. No-one could get through the coat of self-righteousnesss- not even God.

God had to remove the coat. The problem with Samson, he did not even know that the coat was removed when it was. Judges 16:20 (KJV) “And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist (knew) not that the LORD was departed from him“.

He spent some time in prison, blind and abused as a prisoner before realizing that he needed the coat of God on his heart. Judges 16:22- “However the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven“. With the regrowth of his hair and the time to reflect on his Maker, Samson began to understand the true source of his righteousness and power. This is the transformation God seeks. Judges 16:28 ‘And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

In submitting to God, and putting on the garment of God’s righteousness, both Joseph and Samson were able to accomplish their purposes in God.

For us, let us reflect on our lives and ask the question- what or who is the source of our righteousness. Is it our own works, our influence over people, our fame, our strength? Or is it simply God?

Seek His face and throw off those things that keep us out of His purpose. Put on new garments of true humility and allow God to use us for His glory.

Amen

Identity Crisis!

When we see what is happening around us, we ask the simple question.. What is going on? While we ask the simple question, there is no simple answer. Many have bloviated and analyzed and made assessments. I hardly depend on the news media anymore to analyze for me because I have noted long ago that they lie and have an agenda.. which is antithetical to God and truth.

For anyone watching unfolding developments, and we see the violence, the destruction of innocent people’s lives by the mob, we need to step away and evaluate. This cannot be right. It is a war but which has lost the focus of the initial grievance. Like all wars, those who have hijacked the narrative, have no goal of actually accomplishing a justice but rather to pour gasoline into a nation’s wounds. It cannot be right. For those who are hungry for power to completely enslave a righteous issue for their own selfish purposes, it is a crime against humanity itself. This war is against us the people.

But it is not first time this has happened. Look throughout history, if you can find the true accounts of it and you will see the same stategy amid the littered corpse of humanity, that those who desired to dominate and enslave, will use a truth, twist it and twist it until the lie looks exactly like the truth. Sounds familiar!

For those of us who learn from history so that we don’t repeat its mistakes, the clarity is there. For those who will deny the history and seek to change it to fit a narrative, I pray that their eyes be opened to truth.

From the garden of Eden to the present, the serpent has twisted the truth for his own selfish purposes. Those who fall victim have an identity crisis. If you know who you are, your purpose and your destiny, the chances of falling victim to proganda is lower. If you are confused and have no identity but only live to move from one fight to another, then you are a perfect soldier for the Serpent kingdom. You are mercenary.

It is time to wake up. We have been in a war for a very long time. Unless we have a purpose in life other than power and wealth, unless our purpose is first and foremost to do the work of the only true God- to establish His kingdom on the earth, we will not be able to fight. Traitors are those who are confused about their identity. Take Judas Iscariot for example. Identity confusion is the source of our greatest battle.

As with an individual, so it is with a nation. If a nation does not have a core principle and belief, if there is no understanding of who we are as a people, where we came from and using our past to forge a better tomorrow, we are destined for the destruction that befell those before us. It is ok to stumble, but understanding who you are enables you to take courage and stand up again. Erasing our identity because we cannot or will not understand who are, our purpose and our destiny will not make us a better person. It will just put blinders on our eyes. There will be no growth..only tantrums when things do not go our way.

Who are you and who/what are you fighting for? The current trend of the day? The fools who lead us cannot think for us. We need to educate ourselves and think for ourselves. It is a time to take sides and draw battle lines. As Joshua said (Josh 24:15 KJV)And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD“.

We have a choice. Let us make the choice soberly and with clarity. And may the Lord guide us into victory.

Amen

Faith comes by hearing BUT so does fear

faith

Faith- that spiritual discipline that is so sought after comes by hearing the word.

Romans 10:14-17 says: How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our report?” So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

It is a strange thing also that faith does not come by sight nor touch but by hearing.

Hebrews 11:1 says: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

John 20:24- 28 says: But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples, therefore, said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Many times fear is transmitted through the senses but the one sense that feeds your faith is the hearing of the word of God.

In this time- whose report will you believe?

It is not about statistics and projections. Instead, hear the word of God and speak LIFE, HEALING, and RESTORATION!

Don’t join the chorus of the crowd but be the mouthpiece of the Lord by hearing His Word and speaking the faith- that which we know is the will of GOD.  Let us remind ourselves of His words in John 10:9-18:

Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Amen

Who will fight?

s461184977969114788_p8_i1_w1100

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The giant keeps taunting the soldiers. Ha! He mocks them. Where is your God? Who will fight me? Send your best warrior and I will feed his flesh to the birds!

So the giant Goliath breathed out fear as the Israelites cowered in fear. No-one dared lift a finger against the giant for fear.

1 Samuel 17:10-11: And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.  When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.

There was no faith. Only fear of the physical of the seen.

Then steps forward a warrior- David-who dared to look beyond the natural, the seen, the expected. Instead, he saw the Divine.

As the church of Jesus Christ, we have the power to see the Divine. We know His name – Lord Saboth…. the Warrior who fights on our behalf.

1 Samuel 17: 25-26: And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father’s house free in Israel.  And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

Then David did this:

1 Samuel 17:44-51:

And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.

45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

46 This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord‘s, and he will give you into our hands.

48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.

50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.

51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.

As the people who seek after the Living GOD- let us pray and know that in the name of the Almighty,  Jesus Christ our Redeemer, this giant of fear is defeated and the enemy will flee.

Amen.
