FAQ

God

There is one God, All-Powerful, All-Knowing and Ever-present- eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is present in the world to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to convict humanity of sin leading to salvation, to indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

Man

Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost.

Salvation

Salvation is given to us because of the death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection of our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST.

Redemption and justification is only provided through acceptance of and faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His resurrection.

The Body of Christ

Jesus Christ is the head of the Body. (Ephesians 4:15)

The Body of Christ is comprised of believers who have confessed Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, who are being regenerated daily by the Holy Spirit and  who are united together looking for His coming.

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and is to be used in the instruction and building up of the Church. (2 Timothy 3:16)

The Rapture

Jesus Christ will “rapture” or take up the Church prior to the tribulation period. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)- For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be suddenly caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.

Water Baptism

Water baptism by immersion after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.

Communion

The Lord’s Supper is a memorial service done by command of the Lord himself, symbolizing the death of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I Corinthians 11:23-26-” For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread, and after he had given thanks he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, he also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, every time you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For every time you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”

Heaven and Hell

There is a literal Heaven and a literal Hell.
