Teach us to pray Lord. This is the perpetual cry of our hearts. Every day, every hour, every minute, every second- like the air we breathe, so let my prayers of supplication, of fellowship, of faith, of hope, of love be ever before you. ” Prayer is talking with God. Learning to talk with God more effectively is the desire of most, if not all, Christians. Then realize prayer is not just talking to God, but allowing Him to talk with you.(The Prayer Bible- Towns/Zuck). “

Luke 11:1-4 (NKJV)- Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.” ² So He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
³ Give us day by day our daily bread.
⁴ And forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.”

Let us join together in prayer and as Ekklesia, the called out ones– let us seriously contend or agonize for the faith.  The scripture in Jude 1:3  beseeches us “to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.”
